BRC Food Safety Issue 7

This 5-day in-depth course will provide an understanding of the Standard in terms of the protocol, requirements and how to audit effectively.

Delegates will gain an in-depth guide to the requirements of the Standard, and learn how to undertake a BRC Global Standards audit, including effective planning, conducting and reporting of the audit.

BRC Food Third Party Auditor

This 5-day in depth course will provide an understanding of the Standard in terms of the protocol, requirements and how to audit effectively.

Delegates will gain an in-depth guide to the requirements of the standard, and learn how to undertake a BRC Global Standards audit, including effective planning, conducting and reporting of the audit.

Audit techniques will be practiced and developed, to include the auditor competency skills required of GFSI scheme auditors.

BRC Food Safety - Understanding the Requirements

This course gives technical, quality and operations staff from the logistics industry, retailers and food service companies a clear understanding of the protocols and requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, including audit planning and the events during and after the audit.

Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed with a 25 question exam. Pass mark 60%.

BRC Food Safety - Implementing the Standard

This course is designed to shorten the learning curve and assist previously uncertified site management teams with an initial approach and understanding for how to implement the Standard requirements.

This approach starts with some basic project discussion including organization of documentation (3.1) and assignment of key activities responsibilities (1.2.1). Each requirement will be addressed either by discussion questions or exercises.

It is expected that attendees will have previously taken HACCP training. Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed with a 25 question exam. Pass mark 60%.

BRC Food Safety - BRC Awareness

This one-day course gives technical and quality staff from manufacturers an overview of how the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety should be implemented onsite. It is aimed at Senior Management, Quality Managers, Technical Managers, Production Managers and Operations Managers.

Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be given a certificate of attendance - No formal assessment is required.

BRC Food Safety Issue 8

This course will provide auditors of BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 7 with details of the changes to the Standard for Issue 8, as well as a review of audit protocol and BRC Global Standards expectations to ensure the effectiveness and consistency of audits against the Standard.

BRC Conversion from Issue 7 to Issue 8 for Auditors

This course will provide auditors of BRC Global Standards for Food Safety Issue 7 with details of the changes to the standards for Issue 8, as well as a review of audit protocol and BRC Global Standards expectations to ensure the effectiveness and consistency of audits against the standard.

Before the course it will be useful if you have read and reviewed a copy of the BRC Food Safety Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed by an exam of 50 questions with a pass mark of 75%.

BRC Conversion from Issue 7 to Issue 8 for Sites

This course will provide delegates with an in-depth understanding of the revisions to standard requirement for Issue 8. It is designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to successfully implement the changes to the standards on-site.

Before the course it will be useful if you have read and reviewed a copy of the BRC Food Safety Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed by an exam of 25 questions with a pass mark of 60%.

BRC Food Safety Issue 8 Auditor Training

This course has been designed to enable delegates to gain a full understanding of the general principles of the requirements of the Standard, including fundamental clauses and statements of intent, and how to undertake a BRC Global Standards audit, including planning and reporting of the audit.

Delegates must have a working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector. Delegates should also have completed a HACCP course of at least two days duration.

Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed with a 50 question exam. Pass mark 75%.

BRC Food Safety Issue 8 Sites Training

This course has been designed to enable delegates to gain a full understanding of the general principles of the Standard, and how to comply with the requirements.

Delegates will also gain an understanding of what to expect during the process of certification, and actions needed prior to, during and after the audit.

Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed with a 25 question exam. Pass mark 60%.

BRC Food Safety Lead Auditor

This 5-day in-depth course will provide an understanding of the Standard in terms of the protocol, requirements and how to audit effectively.

Delegates will gain an in-depth guide to the requirements of the Standard, and learn how to undertake a BRC Global Standards audit, including effective planning, conducting and reporting of the audit. Auditing techniques will be practised and developed, to include the auditor competency skills required of GFSI scheme auditors.

Delegates must have a prior working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector, and have completed a HACCP course of at least two days duration.

Successful completion of this course, including the exam, forms part of the training necessary to become a BRC Global Standards auditor. The steps necessary to complete your training must be arranged with a BRC Global Standards-approved certification body.

BRC Storage and Distribution Issue 3

This 2 day course gives technical, quality and operations staff from the logistics industry, retailers and food service companies a clear understanding of the protocols and requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, including audit planning, and the events during and after the audit.

The intention of the course is to train current auditors of other schemes who wish to audit the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution.

BRC Storage and Distribution Auditor Training

The intention of this course is to train current auditors of other schemes who wish to audit the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution.

Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed with a 50 question exam. Pass mark 75%.

This course is aimed at Auditors, Consultants, Certification Body employees and also at new appointments and newly promoted staff.

BRC Storage and Distribution Understanding the Requirements

This course gives technical, quality and operations staff from the logistics industry, retailers and food service companies a clear understanding of the protocols and requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, including audit planning and the events during and after the audit.

Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed with a 25 question exam. Pass mark 60%.

This course is aimed at the following groups of people, Technical Managers, Quality managers, Quality Team members, Consultants, New appointments and newly promoted staff and Operational Staff.

BRC Product Safety HACCP

The purpose of this course is to train technical and quality staff from sites who need to be able to establish and implement a hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) system.

Before the course it will be useful if you have read and are familiar with the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Section 2) which can be downloaded free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed by an exam of 25 questions and the pass mark is 60%.

This course is aimed at the following groups of people; Technical and Quality staff / Food safety management team members implementing HACCP or food safety plans and HACCP Team members.

BRC Product Safety Internal Auditor

This course is to enable to undertake internal audits and prepare companies for third party audits. It’s delivered via a series of workshop-led discussions, presentations and an interactive case study.

During the live case study, you will be given feedback and support to enable you to carry out an audit at your own workplace.

Before the course it will be useful if you have read and reviewed a copy of the BRC Food Safety Standard which is available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed. 50% course participation, 50% course assignment - Workplace audit; Pass mark 75%

This course is aimed at the following groups of people; Technical and Quality Managers, Operational staff, Those involved in carrying out Internal audits, Consultants, New appointments and newly promoted staff.

BRC Product Safety Risk Assessment

This course is to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of risk assessment and enable them to use different risk assessment models.

This is particularly useful when implementing product safety management systems onsite, and when implementing the requirements of the BRC Global Standards.

Before the course it will be useful if you have read and are familiar with the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety which can be downloaded free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed by: Course assignment – risk assessment; Pass mark 75%.

BRC Product Safety Root Cause Analysis

This course is to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of root cause analysis (RCA) to know the importance of RCA, and to be able to perform RCA competently. This is especially helpful when implementing some of the requirements in the BRC Global Standards.

Before the course it will be useful if you have read and are familiar with the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety which can be downloaded free of charge from the BRC Bookshop.

At the end of the course you will be assessed by a course assignment: Root cause analysis; Pass mark 75%.

This course is aimed at the following groups of people; Quality and technical management staff at manufacturing, storage/distribution and retail sites.

BRC Product Safety Validation and Verification

This course will provide delegates with a thorough understanding of validation and verification so they know the level of detail required for each process and are able to use validation and verification in practice. This is especially helpful when implementing some of the requirements in the BRC Global Standards.

BRC Product Safety Vulnerability Assessment for Food Fraud

This course is designed to provide manufacturers with an in-depth and practical understanding of Vulnerability Assessment for Food Fraud tools and techniques, and how they can be applied in a practical manner relevant to the delegate’s industry sector.

It will enable delegates to use techniques to better identify and mitigate risks associated to raw materials in the supply chain. This is particularly useful when implementing product safety management systems and the requirements of the BRC Global Standards onsite.
